You have arrived at the home page of JumpStart, an empowering journey for youth and families. Begun by the Episcopal Diocese in 1959, JumpStart has grown to meet the challenges facing today’s youth and families in the South Sound. Youth come to us after enduring many years of abuse and neglect by those entrusted to love and protect them. What makes JumpStart different is its focus on the whole family. Abuse does not happen in a vacuum. Children who are abused usually have parents that were abused themselves. Each day we work to break those cycles and help create healthy children, families, and communities. We can’t do it without your help!
